Just thought i would stop by and say Merry Christmas! We hope you have a great one! Love, Dave and Rebecca

Thursday, October 23, 2008

Hey everyone sorry i have not written on this lately things have been crazy lately. Dave and i are going great. We have actually been able to work alot together at work so that has been so nice.

We are also getting ready for a friends wedding which we are in and helping plan. I have until nov 15. things are getting crazy. I am having the bridal shower at my house as well. I hope i can fit everyone.

If you guys could pray though. My aunt is not well at the moment and my grandmother is living in her home. My aunt can't physically do anything at all. So i took over caring for my grandmother. I have hired people to come take care of her during the different hours of the day. So far i have trained two girls and they have been a no show for me. This has thrown me in a loop. Yesterday my afternoon girl never showed up at all so i had to pull my night girl and then go myself and do the night time. Thankfully it worked out but it was hard working yesterday and making phone calls as well. Please pray that things get situated and that i find good help.

thanks, Bec

Thank you all for your prayers. Dave's surgery went well. He was under for three hours and they removed the skin growth that was behind his ear drum. He will have to have a second surgery in 6 to 9 months to reconstruct his bones in his ear. Please pray for that as well. Dave was suppose to come home after surgery but he was so sick, out of it and dizzy that they admitted him to the hospital. I was very upset about it but in the end it worked out. My mom made me come home and try to sleep. Haha. The next day we went and brought him home. He is doing ok. Dizzy at time and it hurts alot. He is on good pain medicine and i am trying to take care of him. He is out of work for two weeks.

Thanks so much, Keep praying for us. We are not sleeping well and i have to work a ten hour shift at the squad  on thursday and then again on saturday for this week. It is hard but i am trusting the Lord to care for my husband as i try to make some money.

Well on Monday i found out my test results and i passed my EMT test. I am so happy. The Lord taught me patience through the whole thing. I start working on Tuesday so that is great. I am nervous but really excited. It is hard to get shifts right now because so many college students are home working but in a month i will probable get more shifts and that will keep me busy.

Dave got home from his trip safely. He had a blast. He was at the Ranch for a whole week and left me home which was sad. I missed him so much but at least he is home now. He went to take advanced classes for Interpreting for the deaf . He interprets already in our church and now he has more skills.

Well, i have to run, Hope this summer has been great for all of you.

Dave and Rebecca
